Bit of an update.

This embroidering shit is awesome. I’m having more fun with it than I’ve had in months. I know that sounds lame, but it’s mostly because I can’t hold on to anything in my hands so photography,painting, knitting, sketching, and pretty much everything that requires me to hold on to something but focus on something else and dropping something 15,000 times is frustrating. So very frustrating that I end up crying 90% of the time. It’s really been bothering me.

However, with the embroidering, I have to concentrate on the needle and that’s the only thing I really have to hold because I put the loop thing between my knees. So, I’m having SO much fun with it. It is taking forever though. I’m making one for each family member (sadly,while lucky for this project, I don’t have much family members anymore) and then a couple for some friends, tumblr friends :), and coworkers. Being able to do this just restores some of the confidence I’ve lost in the last 2 years. Who knew a little needle and some string could be so powerful.
